Cozy and comfy stay!
We had a nice Sunday night here. The room was super cozy and quiet, just what we needed! The bed was comfy, and we loved the fresh milk and biscuits on arrival. Breakfast was fab too, I recommend the eggs benedict. Just wished there were more dining options nearby. A great spot for a quick getaway!

Solo traveler looking for comfort and good food
The room was clean and very roomy, with comfy beds that felt like they were custom-made for me. The breakfast blew me away. full Lancashire with all the traditional fixings, and don’t even get me started on the hot chocolate in the room.
It wasn't what you'd call inexpensive but honestly, something about it felt worth it.

We stayed in a family room for 3 nights, and it was spacious enough for our grown children. The breakfast was delicious, and the staff went above and beyond—especially when Joe helped us arrange a farewell breakfast for 14 family members in a private space.
My kids wished there were more activities for families in the area.

Clean, tidy rooms with stylish contemporary fittings and a powerful shower made for a comfortable stay. The breakfast spread was impressive, offering a range of cooked-to-order dishes alongside fresh fruit and cereals.
Returned from a day out to find the pre-booked parking taken by another vehicle, which caused a bit of an inconvenience. Limited parking options available on-site, and the public car park across the road was less than ideal for those with valuables in their cars. A few noise disturbances from outside the room were noticeable at times, particularly during evening hours, impacting the peace a bit.

Fantastic stay at the Toll House! The location is ideal. just a short walk to the town center, yet peaceful enough for a good night's sleep. My room was very spacious, with comfortable bedding that made me feel right at home. The bathroom had all the essentials, and I loved the fresh milk provided for tea. Breakfast was a treat—so many options, and everything I tried was cooked perfectly. The staff were genuinely friendly and quick to help when I had a question. The only hiccup was some noise from the bar area, which was a bit disruptive at night. a lovely place to stay, just a few adjustments needed in soundproofing.

It was just a smart choice for a short interlude in Lancaster with great value-to-price ratio. The staff were very kind and quickly brought us an extra pillow. Try to ask for a room away from the heating system if you need quiet.

The staff made me feel welcomed, and the room was comfortable, though it could use some improvements as the bathroom showed signs of wear. Breakfast was decent, but a few more serving tongs would enhance the experience. a pleasant stay despite these small inconveniences.
